What does “Positivity” mean to you?
For me Positivity is to wake up every morning from my bed and believing that something spectacular will happen, either to me, to the people around me or at my work. And that’s my default program of the day; to look for the positive and good in every situation.
A very classic example of my everyday life would be when I have a very difficult discussion with a colleague of mine. If you start the conversation by believing that everyone’s intention is from a good and kind point of view, then the discussion will start by understanding what was the reason behind this difficult situation and what we could have done different in order to change it from difficult into productive and positive.
And when you do act in this way, the whole conversation will change attitude and you will always find a better solution and less painful.
Please specify 3 things that you do, to regain your positivity and your strengths after a disappointment at work/life.
- Taking a walk
- Contacting with a positive, happy and optimistic person
- Doing something I love
How important is it to stay positive in achieving your goals?
A positive attitude and a positive tendency is my strength. It fills me with positivity, clarity and optimism. I acknowledge and deal with the most difficult and demanding goals that I have set, keeping in mind the end result that I will gain. A result that has pride, reword and success for me and the people around me. This helps me to fight harder with patience and drive, dealing with setbacks and difficulties that I will be faced with while achieving the goal.
Disappointment that drives from setbacks while achieving your goal, for me is only human and acceptable. As long as it lasts just a short moment, and then I move on!
What “PositivePromise” would you like to give?
I promise to greet positively 10 people I don’t know.
I promise to call 2 friends or family members I haven’t talked for a very long time.
I promise to greet everyone I meet with a big smile for one month.
I promise to volunteer at any NGO of my choice for one month as often as I can.
